The Heart Behind Mama Fina's
Mama Fina's is named after Delfina Dolor, the owner's beloved mother whose recipes have been passed down through three generations. Born in Bicol, the owner learned to cook at her mother's side, mastering the rich, bold flavors that would later define our restaurant.
When her grandchildren opened this restaurant in 2015, their mission was simple: share Mama Fina's recipes with a community hungry for authentic Filipino flavors. Every dish on our menu tells a story of family gatherings, holiday celebrations, and the warmth of a Filipino home.
Today, we continue Mama Fina's legacy by cooking the same way she did — with fresh ingredients, time-honored techniques, and above all, with love.

Authenticity
We honor traditional Filipino recipes, using the same techniques and ingredients passed down for generations.
Family
Every guest who walks through our doors becomes part of our extended family. We treat you like Mama Fina would.
Community
We're proud to be part of Hackensack, bringing Filipino culture and cuisine to our neighbors.
